Drake Law Library provides copies of material in the law library collection in accordance with copyright law, licensing provisions, and library policies. The copyright law of the United States (Title 17, United States Code) governs the making and use of photocopies or other reproductions of copyrighted materials.

The Drake University Law Library will loan items and send copies of material to other libraries. We lend to most libraries in the United States. We do not lend to correctional facility libraries.

Requests to borrow must be received through OCLC WorldShare ILL Resource Sharing. Our OCLC symbol is IWD.

We will lend most items in our collection that circulate. Materials we do not loan include:

• reference, ready reference, and reserve items
• study aids
• loose-leafs
• microforms
• videos
• sound recordings
• old, rare, or fragile material

It may be helpful to check SuperSearch, the library catalog for more information about specific items in our collection.

We will deliver loaned material via U.S. mail. Copies will be delivered by email or U.S. mail.

Material is loaned for one month. Renewal requests are usually granted.

We do not charge for copies or books delivered to MALLCO (Mid-America Law Library Consortium) libraries or Enrich Iowa libraries.

PHOTOCOPIES
$15.00 per citation.
