Topical services (looseleafs) and portfolios may have multiple indexes to help you access relevant content. Reading the help or "How to Use" sections can improve your results and save you time in the long run.
To provide the most current information, the library now maintains access to topical services primarily through databases, such as those linked below.
Topical services provide current information, including news, analysis and references to primary law, about a legal practice area. (These have traditionally been called looseleafs, due to their print publication format.)
Portfolios provide analysis and often practice tips for a relatively narrow issue of law.
Most topical services and portfolios are now available electronically, where updates are integrated into the database. For the few still received in print, looseleafs and portfolios are updated by replacing individual pages or adding new newsletter pamphlets.
